How to identify a faulty or failing ignition switch on a FG series(May 2008+):

Ford Falcon model range:
BF MK II Falcon Wagon – From 3/08 Onwards
FG Falcon Sedan & Ute 2/2008 Onwards

Ford Territory model range:
SY Territory from 16/5/2008 onwards
SZ Territory & MKII SZ

• Car will intermittently start or nothing happens when turning the key with the usual dash lights on.
• Needing to put inwards pressure towards the steering column or jiggle the key to get the car to start
• Needing to put excessive pressure whilst turning the key at the start position to get the vehicle to start
